Celebrating Black Art at the Studio Museum Gala | DMC Original Art

I recently had the pleasure of joining Goldman Sachs at their table for a beautiful evening celebrating Black art and artists at the Studio Museum in Harlem Gala. As a proud alum of the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business program and an emerging artist in NYC, it was an honor to be surrounded by visionaries and changemakers who continue to shape the future of the arts and business community.

The night was a meaningful reminder of how creativity and entrepreneurship intersect to uplift culture and community. I’m deeply grateful to Jessica Taylor for the kind invitation, her inspiring leadership, and her continued support of Black women in business and the arts.

Congratulations to Thelma Golden and the entire team at the Studio Museum in Harlem on the upcoming grand re-opening of this historic institution, a true cornerstone of Black cultural expression and artistic innovation.

It was also a joy meeting Usher, whose presence added even more excitement to an already memorable night. Hopefully, his team will reach out soon about adding a piece from DMC Original Art to his collection!

Events like this reaffirm my mission to create art that bridges community, mindfulness, and design - celebrating the flow of creativity that connects us all.

Cheers to a fun night celebrating the arts!
